As we celebrate our second Birthday we are thrilled to officially launch our in-house Digital Art Department. The Department concentrates on collaborating with Directors and agency Creatives to realise and craft ideas in their infancy. Sourcing reference, creating style frames, typography, storyboards, pre-visualisation, motion tests and painting concept art across all platforms. The team are available to you as a complimentary, dedicated resource to realise, create, integrate and execute ideas and concepts.
While we continue to expand our already strong line-up of Artists at Method, we recently welcomed Andrew Lodge to the team. As VFX Supervisor, Lodge brings his creative expertise and passion to create beautiful digital images, focussing on look development and supervising projects that require photo real seamless integration. He has spent 9 years at Animal Logic in Sydney and 2 years at Moving Picture Company in the UK where he has been involved in memorable films and commercials such as Hunger Games II, Lego Star Wars, Iron Man III, Sony Bravia ‘Paint’ , Nike ‘ Flyknit’ , Hyundai ‘Shell’, Renault ‘Parts Race’.
Method Studios Australia celebrates Julian Ford joining the Walsh Bay Flame team. Ford joining the team has solidified our integrated pipeline, allowing our team of Flame Artists to work closely together on shared projects whether they are located at our Sydney or Melbourne studios.
Method & SBS were excited to learn that their SBS Documentary Promos picked up three PROMAX Gold Awards in the international competition. The project triumphed in 'Design and Art direction', 'Best Dramatic program spot or Campaign' and 'Promotional Campaign Out of House' categories. Being up against global entries made this win even more exciting than the three Gold trophies won for the same SBS campaign at the Australian Promax conference last year. Congratulations to the entire team.
